One of 4 brothers from Barnton, Northwhich who served during WW1. The other brothers were Ernest, John and Harry. 
Ernest also lost his life, Reg No 12736, Cheshire Regiment. 
Thomas was a reservist and had joined the army in 1904, his service papers are on Ancestry and there are over 60 pages. 
He joined up in August 1914 and is buried near Bailleul, his papers state he was killed in action.
